The Sanctuary neighborhood is unique for two reasons – It is located between Downtown and the Mountain with the Fish Creek running down the middle and the fact it wraps around a golf course (which turns into Steamboat Ski Touring Center in the winter) A mixture of second homes owners and locals live in single family houses ranging from 3500 SF to over 7000 SF all high end homes. 

The Robert Trent Jones designed golf course formally known to locals as the “Sheraton Golf Course” has now been renamed the Rolling Stone Golf Course.  Residents love the fact they are minutes to Town or minutes to the Steamboat Ski Resort coupled with the amenities of hiking trails that surround the neighborhood and take hikers into the Routt National Forest; which also borders the Sanctuary to the East.
