The market has consistently improved since hitting bottom in 2008. 2016 was the year Steamboat’s luxury market came out of its slumber. For properties priced from $3.5M, 2016 posted 11 sales; one less than 2014 and 2015 combined. Further, sales in the Sanctuary, which is one of Steamboat’s most exclusive neighborhoods, saw 9 sales; one less than what occurred in 2013, ’14 and ’15 combined.”
