Get a jump on spring cleaning to prepare your home for sale
If you are thinking about listing your home in 2017, there are things you can do now to prepare your home for sale. Organizing and cleaning now can make the process of listing and showing your home much easier when you are ready to take that leap.
Clear out
Few things are as big a turn-off for buyers as overcrowded rooms and stacks of junk or boxes. The less junk you have lying around, the more spacious each room will be. When you first start thinking about selling your home, try to tackle a room per week. Clear out things you don't need.
Ideally, you will sell, donate or toss these items, but you can rent a storage space as a last resort.
